“Who we are – My firm is Alan Asbury CPA, PLLC.  I am a Certified Public Accountant in Fayetteville North Carolina and I am passionate about the accountant profession and service to clients. My career includes 6 years serving in the United States Air Force as a Navigator. I am proud of my service in the Strategic Air Command and my combat service in Southeast Asia. I have 9 years experience in being a Public Accountant, serving clients in business, industry, government, farmers and individuals throughout Fayetteville in eastern North Carolina. My clients have ranged from helping individuals with tax preparation and planning to working with small business owners running large construction companies, restaurants, car dealerships, medical clinics, garages, motels, pet stores and many others. It also includes auditing large agricultural processing plants, cities, counties, hospitals and school boards and non-profits. My career also includes 29 years as a Controller and Treasurer for large poultry companies here in North Carolina. This is what I consider my “real world” experience. It includes business and risk management, lending relationships, cash flow management, acquisitions, managing employees and the accountant functions, expansion planning including return on investment, implementing information systems, accounts receivable management, developing costing systems and analysis reporting.
